Ground: Observatory

First, we were instructed to find a natural pattern in Forest Park in St. Louis. Following we were to make a tracing and a basswood model informed by the pattern we discovered. After creating a basswood model we then created a wire model informed by the prior studies which interacted with the basswood model which served as a topographical guide. After these two models were completed we were prompted to design an observatory in Forest Park. This observatory is meant to be for the viewing of some natural phenomena in the park. I chose to focus on texture.
